In the movie "A Beautiful Mind", did the real John Nash make a cameo appearance as the elderly man who initially approached and was qualifying John Nash for the Nobel Prize?
-Victor Kushida
CMT Answer:
I couldn't find any evidence that points to him having a cameo in the movie. IMDB, which usually sports a very complete cast list, does not list John Nash in the credits- even as an uncredited actor. Usually if someone of note has a cameo or appears in a movie, even if they are not credited in the movie itself, IMDB will have it listed. I also did a Google search and came across no pages that mentioned John Nash having a cameo, so my answer would be that no, he did not have a cameo in the movie.

I believe the movie you are after is "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". Here's one link to a page where someone did not appreciate that scene, but they do recount it:

What film was released first in Australia "Trainspotting" or "Shallow Grave"?
-Dan
CMT Answer:
From IMDB I found that Trainspotting was released May 23rd, 1996, however I could not find a release date for Shallow Grave. I went to the official site of the company that produced the film, http://www.figmentfilms.com, to see if I could contact someone there but the site has not been updated for some time and lists "The Beach" as their next big upcoming release. Other than that extensive Google searching turned up no release date for Shallow Grave, so I'm sorry but I cannot answer your question.

Was there ever a movie made without any music? My sons music teacher bet them that there is not . Thank you for your help.

"The Blair Witch" project did not have any music in it. There is a kind of music over the end credits, but none in the film itself. Here is a page relating to the lack of music in the movie:

Was the cemetary in "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" a real one or created for the movie?
-Gail
CMT Answer:
I believe it was created for the movie. The name of the cemetery in the flick is "Sad Hill", and a search on Google only turned up pages related to the movie. If a famous place is used in a well known movie, there is usually a large number of pages about or referencing the site.

He tried to kill himself with a flare gun which was found in his locker at school. Here is the related movie dialogue:

Everyone tries unsuccessfully not to laugh.
Brian: "It's not funny!"
More laughter.
Brian: "Yes, it is."
He laughs.
