Butterfly or moth collection in movie

I have been trying to find this for the longest time. There was a movie in the 70's where a woman was killed at the end. The only thing I can remember that she was impaled by this hook that a butterfly/moth collection had been hung on. I think veteran actor William Windom was in it. It was suspenseful and I believe the butterflies/moths had a big role in the plot.
